Buenos días, kia ora, hello!

Welcome to Two Girls, One Tent--the virtual diary for our {mis}adventures. We are Maddie and Anna, high school best friends turned travel partners. Whenever possible, we take a break from our day jobs to get in touch with our inner John Wesley Powell, the one-armed veteran and Wild West explorer who mapped the Colorado River (our personal hero). We pride ourselves on our meticulous planning, big dreams, and incessant pursuit of goals. We humble ourselves with the reminder that no amount of planning can account for everything, and we learn this lesson time and time again on our travels.

Maddie is a 3L at the University of Arizona. She’s a desert dweller and cactus expert. Her Currant River bucket hat goes everywhere she goes, and she collects pins on TGOT adventures.
Anna is a speech-language pathologist in Reno, Nevada. She is a passionate advocate of the Junior Ranger program and grew up just a little bit granola. She collects postcards on TGOT adventures.
